New innovation case on THINK!: Community Voice Mail

Community-Voice-MailCommunity Voice Mail (CVM) is the only nonprofit organization in the U.S. that has created, replicated, and sustained a nationwide voice mail program dedicated to assisting people in crisis and transition in their efforts to become self-sufficient. It helps people living in poverty, transition and homelessness rebuild their lives by connecting them to jobs, housing, information and hope. CVM do this by customizing and distributing communications technology via a national network of community-based services.

For over 15 years, Community Voice Mail has been providing free voice mail boxes to an average of 40,000 people in the U.S. through a network of 2,000 social service agencies in 45 U.S cities. Our clients are actively seeking to improve their lives; voice mail is a tool, not a hand out.
