Worldwatch presents 15 innovations to feed the planet

World WatchThe Worldwatch Institute has released their annual flagship report on feeding the planet. This year’s edition highlights five-teen different innovations in agriculture that could provide more food for the hungry. The innovations include micro-irrigation, “vertical” gardens for city slums, and empowering small farmers to do their own research.  A summary of the report is available here for a free download.

Report provides a roadmap for food security and agricultural investment, revealing 15 high- and low-tech solutions that are helping to reduce hunger and poverty in Africa.
